About

Wynne Dromey is a student at Clark University looking to study Studio Art and Business. Her work focuses on expressing confidence and individuality through portraits.

Each one of her portrait paintings represents the beauty of identity and the appreciation towards the inspiring people she paints. Dromey uses her portraits to promote self love and highlight the value of the diverse qualities that shape each individual.

Dromey is also interested in creating texture in her work by pasting recycled materials on her canvas before painting on it. She collages handmade paper, receipts, dried paint, plastic bags, etc. on the surface to give these items a second life.

My Story

I grew up in Western Massachusetts and was interested in creating art at a very young age. In high school, I started an Instagram account where I posted my work for friends and family to see. I gained so much kind feedback and love, and this lead me to begin selling my work. Through lots of practice and passion, I learned how to run a business and grow my art skills.

In August of 2020, I was a part of a small group exhibition at the Bing Arts Center of Springfield, Massachusetts, and one of my pieces was then chosen for display in the Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts.

Currently, I am a student at Clark University studying Studio Art and Entrepreneurship. I am incredibly grateful for everyone who has purchased or supported my artwork since the start of my (art)repreneurial journey.

I am very excited to see where my work takes me!
